Manual 2 - Doors & Windows
Quick Tip - When using your cloth always start with the least dirty and end with the dirtiest. For example, always clean the glass first and then end of with the ledge where there is more dirt
Manual 3 - Lamps & Ceiling Fixtures
Quick Tip - Always make sure lights are off and bulbs are cooled before touching with a damp cloth to ensure the bulb does not explode on contact
Manual 4 - Tables & Chairs
Quick Tip - When finished dusting cabinets, dressers and tables, get down to eye lever of the flat surfaces to ensure you have not left the dreaded triangle of missed dust behind. The client will definitely notice if you don't.
Manual 5 - Sofas & Chairs
Quick Tip - Use vacuum hose with crevice tool to clean under furniture. The crevice tool will ensure you do not suck up loose objects that can clog the vacuum.
Manual 6 - Nic Nacs & Stuff
Quick Tip - Your dry paint brush is your best friend when it comes to dusting nic nacs.
Manual 7 - Just Stoves
Quick Tip - if the drip trays and rings have been badly neglected, inform the client you will do your best but you cannot promise bringing them back to 'new'. Sometimes it is cheaper for the client to purchase new rings and drip trays
Manual 8 - Refrigerators
Quick Tip - Dwell time is what makes cleaning easier so when you are cleaning the inside of the fridge, spray areas that are in need of extra attention first and let sit while you work on other areas.
Manual 9 - Microwaves & Dishwashers
Quick Tip - If a conventional stainless polisher has been used the best way to easily polish is to have a spray bottle of 1/2 cup of olive oil and filtered water. Shake and spray onto the cloth, wipe, following the grain and then with a dry clean cloth, polish to a shine.
Manual 10 - Small Appliances
Quick Tip - Do you know how many cleaning services neglect the crumb tray of the toaster .....find crumb trays under toaster. Remove or unhinge and empty crumbs into the appropriate container. Turn toaster upside down and gently shake into garbage to remove stray crumbs.
Manual 11 - Kitchen Sinks
Quick Tip - The spray bottle can be a powerful dirt remover when the nozzle is in the stream position. Placed close to build up in hard to reach areas the spray will loosen the dirt for an easy wipe.
Manual 12 - Just Toilets
Quick Tip - If a toilet lid is down, flush the toilet before lifting the lid just in case. It is never a nice surprise to lift a lid and find it not flushed.
Manual 13 - Showers & Tubs
Quick Tip - Feel the bottom and edge of shower before choosing to use the non-abrasive scrub. If there is no soap scum residue, it does not need to be used.

Quick Tip - Whether you hand wash or mop, it is important to always get in the corner and along the edges where build up occurs. Don't forget the baseboards.
